Midge L. Belcourt

Midge has owned and operated Midge L. Belcourt CPA, in Acton since 1986, providing tax and accounting services to small businesses and individuals. Midge became a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire in 1982, and is currently licensed in Massachusetts. Since 1978 Midge has held various positions in the Public Accounting industry, as well as positions in Governmental and Private Auditing for the Health Care and Retail fields.
Midge graduated from Southern New Hampshire University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and, subsequently she received a Masters of Business Administration in Management from the Graduate Center of Southern New Hampshire University. Later, she received a Masters in Taxation at Bentley College.
For a period of five years, Midge served as the Treasurer and a board member of the United Way of Acton-Boxborough. She has shared her expertise with college students by teaching courses in business and accounting and has conducted many workshops on individual taxation. Midge has also been a guest speaker at Northeastern University. Midge has participated in an internship program, which is coordinated by the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. Midge has also been a volunteer with Boston Herald Tax Days, is a National Tax Practitioners Institute Fellow and is listed in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
Midge is currently serving on the Small Practice Advisory Committee of the Massachusetts, the Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a past member of the Massachusetts State Taxation Committee. She has served as a board member of the National Association of Accountants, is currently a member of the Massachusetts Societies of CPA’s and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
Midge lives in Acton, MA and is married to Thomas Stylianos. Thomas is an Attorney, practicing immigration and tax law in the Acton and Lowell areas.
